As you might have guessed from a few previous references, both Hannah and I are HUGE (and we mean HUGE) fans of Virginia-based rap duo Clipse. So when the opportunity came up to see them in concert last night, not attending was not even an option.
Thanks to our mad crowd-maneuvering skills we were able to get up to the front of the crowd, and I can honestly count this as one of the most transcendent, exhilarating, and all-together FUN concert experiences of my life. And that wasn’t even the best part…
After the concert (and a considerable amount of time spent waiting for them to come out of the theater), I had a moment of supreme and inexplicable courage when I saw Malice about to drive away in an SUV. I bypassed the barricade, went up to the window, and asked if we could take a picture with him… lo and behold, he got out of his car and THIS happened:
Hannah got one too:
IT WAS PRETTY MUCH THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY LIFE.
Anyway… here are some more shots of us hamming it up at/after the concert (I’m including these for sartorial and atmospheric purposes 🙂 )
It was an incredible night. And totally worth going to my 9:30 Psychology lecture on very little sleep!
